5 Points LocalWhen 5 Points Local opened at 1017 N. Flores St., we found our safe haven. The happiness from the employees and customers radiates and flows throughout the entire two-story building. 5 Points Local nourishes your mind and body through clean food, delicious coffee drinks and yoga.

Bakery Lorraine MacaronsWhen Bakery Lorraine opened it’s doors at Pearl, San Antonio fell head over heels for its macaroons and unique style. With a second location opening at Medical Center, people from all over the city can now conveniently enjoy the treasures from Lorraine.

Bird BakeryOne of the first coffee shops we covered was the gorgeous Bird Bakery located off Broadway. The colorful decor kept us smiling the whole time we enjoyed our cupcakes and cappuccino.

The Cracked Mug PatioOne of San Antonio’s newest coffee shops can be found in the heart of Helotes. The Cracked Mug has a relaxed atmosphere with tons of comfy couches and little nooks.

CuppencakeLocated in the Dominion Ridge shopping center, Cuppencake offers the chillest of playlists and numerous different seating options including tables, couches and a patio. Don’t forget to try the enormous cinnamon rolls!

Oak and SaltIf you’re looking for a cafe that takes coffee as seriously as you do, Estate Coffee is your spot. Estate Coffee opened on the Eastside and offers a coffee roasting facility with coffee bar as well as a boutique specialty food and spice supply shop. We suggest the honey lavender latte!

FairviewTwo words – El Chingon. The Fairview, located at 3428 N St Mary’s St., serves our favorite iced coffee drink ever as well as tasty waffles and donuts. Yes, that is Nutella underneath that waffle!

Halcyon PatioSouthtown’s premier coffee spot, Halycon, serves up food, coffee and adult beverages. Did you know Twenty Something SA was born there? Definitely a place for inspiration!

IndyCoffeeWhen we first visited the team behind Indy Coffee Co., they were situated in a coffee truck off Huebner Road. Now, Indy has a brick and mortar shop by UTSA and provides students with fuel all year long.

Joseph E CoffeeSan Antonio’s first and only coffee and cereal bar, Joseph E. Coffee, offers extravagant bowls of cereal. The Southtown features Cinnamon Toast Crunch, French Toast Crunch, bananas, vanilla almond milk and a maple drizzle!
