La Panderia BreadBroadway features many hidden gems, one of which is La Panadería. Located off Loop 410 and Broadway, La Panderia serves fresh baked bread daily with its breakfast and lunch entrees. I was surprised walking into the bakería because of it’s size. Tables with sleek black chairs and booths stretched across the restaurant with a spacious kitchen on display when you enter.

La Panderia Avocado BowlAfter a morning that was filled with chocolate chip cookies, I decided I would order something to even out my sugar intake. Life is all about balance! I ordered the avocado bowl with mixed greens, black beans, queso fresco and cucumbers. It was amazing, but I found myself chowing down on the two slices of fresh bread that sat atop of my salad. If you’re coming here for the first time, go with the sandwiches and indulge in the La Panadería’s bread made with all natural ingredients.

La Panderia Turkey SandwichJacqueline ordered the turkey sandwich smothered with cilantro mayo, chipotle mustard, gouda and tomatoes. I may have asked for several bites throughout our lunch.

La Panderia InteriorLa Panadería prides themselves on making real bread that is meant to be enjoyed soon after it comes out of the oven. The bread is long-cultured for 48 hours so it rises before it’s placed in the oven and features no artificial yeast. I remember sitting at my table and watching an older woman come in and pick up a few loafs of bread to go. Life goals right there.

La Panadería is located at 8305 Broadway and open for business Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
