Northwest Happy Hours - PK's

Northwest San Antonio continues to expand with new businesses, restaurants, and bars. This only means more sites to explore and discover! Below, in no particular order, are 5 different locations (new and old) around Northwest San Antonio we like to grab a drink, catch up, and snack on some tasty appetizers for happy hour. Each one with different atmospheres, drink specials, and more.

Northwest Happy Hours - Osaka

The 20SA team has a deep love for sushi, and Osaka is one of our favorite places to grab some. Happy hour is Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can select from over 20 different creative sushi rolls. With specials like $6 Sake Bombs and 2 rolls for $15 or 3 rolls for $20, we can’t help but start planning our return trip. Perfect for gathering some friends or even a date to try some new sushi. I personally recommend the Las Vegas, American Ninja and Spider rolls (pictured above). Don’t worry, if Northwest San Antonio may be too far, there’s also an Osaka downtown at 4902 Broadway.

Northwest Happy Hours - Hills & Dales

If you’re looking for something a little more relaxed and with a large selection of brews on tap, look no further. Hills & Dales Icehouse is your next hang out spot. With 54 different beers on tap, yes FIFTY-FOUR, you’re bound to find a new favorite Texas or local Alamo city brew. Instead of happy hour, Hills & Dales celebrates Happy Days with revolving drink specials that last all day. Check their Twitter to see what daily specials they are offering. March Madness is coming up and Hills & Dales plans on showing all the games they can on their Slab Cinema screen out on their front lawn. There’s plenty of outdoor seating to catch a game. Also, we all know the Spurs will make it to playoffs, so make sure to try and catch a game with fellow fans come summertime.

Northwest Happy Hours

If sports is your main focus, PK’s Sports Pub and Grub has you covered. Happy hour is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily with deals like $4 margaritas, $3 well drinks and $15 domestic beer buckets (includes 6). PK’s also has a variety of bar food including: pizzas, wings, burgers, and nachos. If you’re not able to make it to happy hour, PK’s also hosts Fight Nights for UFC fans and always have a number of different evening basketball games on their many screens.

Northwest Happy Hours - España

Try something different and spice it up at España. Their Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with deals like $3.50 glass of sangria, $12 sangria carafe, 1/2 price wine bottles, and cervezaritas for $6.50. They also make authentic Spanish tapas dishes that are all worth trying. So grab some friends and head over to España, especially if you’ve never tried tapas before!

Northwest Happy Hours - Ajuúa

Don’t worry, I didn’t forget to include a place where you can grab appetizing margaritas and Mexican dishes – the San Antonian way.  Ajuúa’s Happy hour lasts until 7:30 p.m. daily. Specials include a wide variety of mojitos, margaritas, cervezaritas, beer, and cocktails. Their happy hour bar bites menu includes: ceviche, 7 layer dip, chimichanga rolls, empanadas, and Mexican sliders with fries. The ultimate San Antonio Happy Hour.
