On November 10th, Jacqueline and I will be road-tripping it to The Lost Pines Forest, home of the Sound on Sound Fest. The SOS Fest is a 3-day festival of music, camping and adventure! The 2017 line-up is sweet and overflowing with ambient chill, indie rock, hip hop and more.

sound-on-sound-2Before we get to the headliners, lets chat camping! As an avid camper, I love waking up in the midst of nature, setting up camp (kind of…), sitting by the fire and staring at the stars without a clock in sight. The campgrounds boast 20+ acres and are set within an enormous pine tree grove, directly adjacent from the main festival grounds. Camping at SOS Fest is not like your typical camping. There will be an onsite 24 hour diner, beer and ice store, comedy club, exclusive DJ sets, morning yoga and workshops. Honestly guys, I just found out there’s going to be morning yoga and I am so unbelievably excited. This is going to be amazing. To find out more about camping at SOS, click here.

sound-on-sound-8Headlining at SOS Fest will be the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, an indie rock band I used to jam out to while getting ready to get to homeroom. I will forever remember their ‘Maps’ music video. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be playing Friday along with Washed Out, Taking Back Sunday and Pusha T! On Saturday Iggy Pop will take the stage along with Grizzly Bear and Vince Staples. The last day of the fest is Sunday and you can enjoy the musical sounds from The Shins, Blood Orange and Electric Wizard. To check out the full lineup featuring over 50 artists, click here.

While getting pumped for the festival Jacqueline and I did a mini photo shoot with some merch from past SOS Fests. We hope you enjoy the pics and that it will inspire you to grab your tent and head to the forest November 10-12th!
