Pearsall Splash Pad For those of you looking for something different to do this summer, consider trying Pearsall Park, located at 4700 Old Pearsall Road. While it might be a bit of drive for those coming from the North, the city has worked hard to transform the once barren area into a spot to be enjoyed by many.

Pearsall Skate ParkThe park has many features to attract the health and fitness fanatics and sports lovers. There are fitness challenge zones, a 40-yard sprint timer, 5k and 10k trails, enough open space for kickball or baseball, and basketball courts.

There is also a skate park, the largest of its kind in San Antonio. Apparently being the best in San Antonio was important to the creators of this park because it also has the largest splash pad in town!

Pearsall Dog The park is also pet friendly with areas for both small and large dogs. This area is further away from the splash pads and can be a place to get out of the sun and away from the crowd. Within the dog park there are obstacles and water fountains for the dogs to ensure they have fun too.

Pearsall Park Snow Cone Other additions to the park include shaded canopies for your picnics and a zipline. If you are worried about needing a snack, there will be several vendors showing up regularly during the week and weekends to sell snow cones, popsicles, and other goodies.
