The Pearl Summer Dance Hall Series Returns

Last night the Summer Dance Hall Series at the Pearl returned with a bang and we can’t wait to go back for more. Sponsored by Shiner, the series is a partnership between local jazz artist, Brent “Doc” Watkins, and The Pearl Brewery. Additionally, all proceeds benefit the Boot Campaign, which is a charitable organization that provides assistance for both past and present military personnel and their families. The FREE series will be held at the Pearl Stable every Wednesday night, July 6th through August 24th. The music plays from 6 to 9 p.m., but you might want to get there when the doors open at 5:30 p.m. to guarantee a table or seat. The music will vary each week and the full schedule can be found on the event page. While you are there, enjoy the music with some food and drinks. Chicken quesadillas and tacos al pastor were being cooked fresh at the event and could be purchased for just $4. To drink, you could choose from a variety of Shiner beers, sangria, or wine for $4, and a soda or water for $2. Let us know if you go sometime this summer!
