One of the happiest times of the week and/or weekend is happy hour because who doesn’t love cheaper food, drink specials and hanging out with their besties? So we’ve decided to help make your happiness a little easier by compiling a list of the best happy hours in Stone Oak (not in any particular order).
Bar Louie is an energetic, urban bar which features a unique artwork architecture and serves traditionally and regionally inspired American food and drinks. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. It features $3.25 drafts, $4.25 wines, $5.25 martinis and 1/2 priced select appetizers and flatbreads. They also have fun events each month such as “$5 Burger Night” (coming up on 3/8/16) and “Blue & Brews” (3/10/16).
Sushi Zushi in Stone Oak has happy hour deals that you simply can’t pass up. Weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m. enjoy $4 select sushi rolls and $4 22 oz. Kirin Ichlibans. Because really, what is better than half-off sushi and cheap drinks?
Okay, now if you’ve ever heard of Little Woodrow’s you know about their turtle races. Well unfortunately, that’s only at its Midtown location, but the Stone Oak location is just as much fun, trust us! Little Woodrow’s extended happy hour, which offers half-priced appetizers, is Fridays from 3 to 9 p.m. and regular happy hour is almost every day of the week.
A “public house” is a gathering place where people discuss daily life, as in saloon, bar, tavern or inn that is open to the public and licensed to sell ales, wines and spirits. A neat public house, as they like to call themselves, is The Hoppy Monk just off of 1604. A gathering place with food and drink deals? Sounds good to us, we’re in! Happy hour at the Hoppy Monk is all-day on Mondays, 3 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and specials on Saturdays.
The Brick House Tavern & Tap really has it all. It offers American classics with a twist, over 80 beers and beer cocktails, flat-screen TVs, leather recliners, outdoor dining, and an inviting atmosphere for friends and families to come together to eat and drink. Their happiest of hours features sweet deals such as $4 import drafts, $5 snacks, $6 seasonal cocktails and house wines, and $7 specialty snacks. It runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, but they’re open every day of the week.
So gather your friends and check out one of these happy hour hot-spots. And as always, please drink responsibly!
