Colorful drinks, stacked sliders, and tasty tacos. The new medical center restaurant, Sangria on the Burg, is quickly becoming a San Antonio favorite!

First thing was first, ordering our sangria flights! Our waiter walked us through the five different flavors on the menu and then chose our top four to go in the flight. They even have a big red sangria on the menu for the true San Antonian!

Ordering our main course from six tacos served on housemade corn tortillas and six different sliders was not an easy feat. Alyssa decided on the Dirty Sanchez, fresh ground beef, poblano, jack cheese, guac, fritos, chorizo salsa and bacon-bean puree served with a side salad. I opted for the fish tacos, made with pineapple slaw, avocado and roasted poblano aioli which were served with a side of the best fries I have ever had.

We visited Sangria on Twenty Something SA’s anniversary, so one of the “Happy Endings” was in order. We tried their arroz con leche bites, a lightly breaded rice ball tossed in cinnamon and served on top of ice cream.Sangria on the Burg
