Fiesta MangonadaFrom April 14th to April 24th, San Antonio will be hoppin’ with Fiesta-related activities. There are numerous exciting events going on this month for Fiesta 2016 and we picked a few to share with you.

April 15-16
Oyster Bake
At Fiesta’s 100th Oyster Bake anniversary, guests can enjoy a plethora of oysters and a variety of music performers as well as a full carnival and even fireworks!

April 15
Alamo Heights Night
The University of the Incarnate Word will once again host Alamo Heights night from 5:30-11:30 p.m. This child-friendly event will include carnival rides and games, live entertainment, and plenty of food booths such as fajitas, funnel cakes, turkey legs, and more.

April 16
Walk for Autism
The family-friendly 12th Annual Walk for Autism is back this year at Fiesta. Participants can either join the two-mile walk or the Superhero 5K. Either participation will help fund programs for families in need of services for autism, counseling, prescription assistance, parent training, case management, and health & wellness education.

FiEGGsta Adult Egg Hunt
You’re never too old for an Easter egg hunt, right? The Artists Foundation of San Antonio is hosting an adult Easter egg hunt with prizes of different swag from various local businesses such as Liberty Bar, yoga passes, Nails by Lynn, lotto scratch offs, and more!  There will also be food, drinks, a raffle, and artwork on display.

Texas Cavaliers River Parade
This year’s river parade is entitled “River of Champions.” Make sure to follow us on Snapchat, @twentysa, because we’ll be snapping the entire parade and showing close-ups of the decorated floats!

April 14-24
Fiesta Carnival
Enjoy all the carnival rides you can imagine at Fiesta Carnival located in downtown SA.

April 19-22
A Night In Old San Antonio (NIOSA)
The infamous NIOSA will return for four nights this year and will host more than 250 elaborate food and drink booths and plenty entertainment stages including 15 heritage-themed areas. NIOSA provides rehabilitation of the historic properties in San Antonio and resources for the San Antonio Conservation Society restoration. Oh, and they have plenty of margarita booths, so there’s another reason to go.
