Brunch, the most important meal of the weekend. Last week Jacqueline and I headed to Michin Kitchen, located in Stone Oak, to indulge in their new brunch menu featuring fresh juices and traditional Mexican breakfast dishes.

As soon as I glanced at the brunch menu my eyes lit up when I read the Michin Eggs description – tortilla, refried black beans, eggs, red salsa, turkey, ham, queso fresco, peas, serrano, avocado AND cilantro. I paired my eggs with Michin’s fruit plate. Although the plate is supposed to come with papaya, pineapple and cantaloupe, Michin was out of papaya that morning.

Jacqueline opted for the green chilaques and the Ultimate Michelada – clamato, house chamoy, black salsa, spicy salsa, and celery. Don’t worry – bubbly is on the menu as well!
